At the ceremony, Junyu Mou , culture and tourism commission of Banan district, pointed out that the industry college jointly built by Chongqing Institute of Engineering and Chongqing Wei Wang film industry college is the result of the government of Banan district to promote school-enterprise cooperation and the integration of industry and education. He hoped that the industry college could promote the development of culture in Banan district. School party secretary Yeping Zhang pointed out that Chongqing college of engineering digital film academy as the key of the construction of the applied undergraduate colleges ,will be at the scene of the movie system management, film and TV art, technology, production and other fields for the school teachers and students to provide a rich real project teaching environment, promote the construction of film in our school related, improve the quality of personnel training, improve the school service influence regional economic development. Mr. Fan Guo, chairman of Chongqing Wei Wang film co., ltd. donated funds for the establishment of "excellent student works support fund", and accepted the letter of appointment of "honorary dean of Wei Wang digital film college of Chongqing engineering college" issued by President Cheng. Finally, leaders from both sides unveiled the grand opening ceremony for the industry academy.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Fei Yang, vice President of the digital art institute. Jiandong Wang, director of the school's recruitment department and director of the school-enterprise cooperation office, Taowen Zhuang, vice President of the digital art institute, Yue Wei, CEO of Wei Wang pictures and Ke Tan, CGO of Wei Wang pictures attended the meeting.
