The Chinese culture animation research and development communication center of Chongqing university of engineering was awarded the "advanced unit of Chongqing social science work in 2018", which is the second time for our school to be awarded the title of advanced unit since 2015. It is reported that the Chinese culture animation research and development communication center is the third batch of humanities and social science popularization base of Chongqing social science federation, and it is also the Chongqing popular science base jointly recognized by the propaganda department of Chongqing municipal party committee, science and technology bureau, education commission, science and technology association and social science federation.

During the period of 2018, the r&d and communication center of Chinese culture animation will give full play to the r&d, education and popularization functions of the popular science base. Held 3 lectures on basic knowledge of Sichuan opera when "popular science of Sichuan opera was introduced into the campus" in Nanwenquan primary school, and presented more than 20 video CDS; During the activity of "inheriting the beauty of the countryside and spreading Chinese culture", science volunteers went deep into Hufeng mountain, a university town, to spread the knowledge of sculpture creation. In the future, the center will actively create a good academic environment, keep abreast of the latest developments in humanities and social sciences, and further promote the coordinated and sustainable development of humanities and social sciences.
