At the meeting, minister Xiong deployed from three aspects of the work situation, conscription policy and work progress of conscription in 2019, the overall arrangement of the recruitment work in 2019 and the task indicators of each college were clarified. Secretary Tang put forward three points: First, to raise awareness, enhance the sense of responsibility and mission of conscription work; Second, to take the initiative as a good job in all stages of conscription work; Third, to strengthen the supervision and inspection to ensure that recruitment indicators are in place. He stressed that all administrative departments and colleges in the school should unify their thinking and regard the recruitment work as a serious political task of the party and the government. In order to effectively implement the recruitment process, the total number of conscriptions this year should be steadily rising, the number of new graduates to join the army should be increased.
