More than 400 teachers and student representatives from secondary schools attended the seminar.

Yaohua He introduced the definition of intellectual property rights with a lot of vivid and detailed examples, and analyzed the current situation of scientific research and patents of the state, some universities in Chongqing and our school as well as the relevant policies of the state on the research and innovation of universities and the protection and application of achievements. He also shared the case of "transformation of a chair" to let teachers and students know how to apply for patent.

In particular, Yaohua He reminded teachers and students to enhance their awareness of intellectual property protection and manage licensing contracts and confidentiality contracts in intellectual property work. Speaking about how to turn "intellectual property" into "assets", Yaohua He said that we should pay attention to the compliance of intellectual property awareness, and put forward effective methods and solutions to avoid the patent in order to make the application and promotion in the society.
