President Hong REN speaks at the Bright View Forum of Civil Engineering College in 2019

This net news(Text /photo. Student news center Guosheng Tan, Chaojin Wang) On April 17, the Bright View Forum of Civil Engineering College in 2019 officially opened in the Academic Hall. This forum specially invites candidates from the first and second levels of national hundred million projects, experts of special allowances of the State Council, professors, doctoral supervisors, honorary Dean of Civil Engineering College Hong Ren as the main speaker. He shares and exchanges with civil engineering students of 2016 and 2017 around "How college students adapt themselves to the new era".


President Hong Ren introduced the development history of the construction industry from three aspects of "industry survey", "learning with wisdom" and "learn in order to practise", interspersed with the process of human transformation from ignorance to wisdom. He emphasized that science and technology are the primary productive forces, and called on all students to study professional knowledge conscientiously. He also talked about the need to apply what he learned. He hoped that classmates would "master all kinds of skills", cultivate their wisdom and sharpen their "sharp tools" so as to make full preparations for their career.


"Bright View Forum" is a comprehensive forum set up by Civil Engineering College in November 2018. With the purpose of "Constructing the common sense of the times and enjoying the wisdom of life for the students of Chongqing institute of Engineering", the topics of this forum include industry frontier, academic knowledge, employment and entrepreneurship knowledge, etc. It mainly invites experts and scholars from inside and outside the city to give special lectures. The purpose is to enrich students' learning platform, ensure that students keep up with the times, timely understand the policies, industry trends, technology development trends of civil construction and other related industries, broaden students' horizons, and improve students' comprehensive quality and ability.
