The school party committee deputy secretary Youxing Sheng, the student office deputy director Wei Huang,  secretary of the school youth league committee Wei Shang, leaders of the party committees of the secondary colleges, class of counselors, student organization cadre representatives and student representatives of various majors attended the meeting with a total of more than 1,000 participants. The conference is presided over by Linjing Liu, deputy secretary of the league committee and secretary of the league committee of Shuangqiao campus.

At 14 p.m., the assembly began in solemn chorus, first, the staff read out the "2018 -- 2019 school year communist youth league advanced collective and individual recognition decision", awarded management school "five-star red flag regiment" title, Rui Fu and four others was awarded the title of "excellent secretary of youth league organization", awarded "May Fourth distinguished medal" to 11 persons including Fangyu Zhou and Bo Zhou, awarded the title of "excellent league member" to 768 people, 193 people were awarded the title of "May Fourth innovation and entrepreneurship", the present school leaders, heads of each school and each department present awards to the winners in turn. After the award ceremony, representative of excellent league secretary, the school of management teachers, Rui Fu, outstanding representative of communist youth league cadres, students of grade 2017 digital art institute Bo Du to speak in turn. Rui Fu summarized his work achievements in the past year, and appeal to the students present to carry forward the spirit of the May Fourth Movement, cherish the present and live up to youth, Bo Du used "cherish the honor, grasp the success" "youth and sweat to create a new miracle" to call on contemporary college students not to forget the original heart, keep mission in mind, brave to take responsibility.

In the following ceremony of the initiation of the civilization cultivation festival, the student office deputy director Wei Huang interpreted the "about the program of fourth 'College Students Civilization and Self-cultivation Day'", he pointed out that the event is mainly carried out by relying on the four major education and implementation of the four major projects to help students achieve the eight civilizations. Guilong Liu, president of the student union of the school, read out the "civilized self-cultivation proposal", he said that civilized self-cultivation should start from their own, start from the side, to show the style of Chongqing Institute of Engineering students, strive to be civilized students, to build a harmonious campus.

Finally, the school party committee deputy secretary Youxing Sheng makes the summary speech, he pointed out that contemporary youth should establish lofty ideals and beliefs, college students in the new era should establish the scientific belief of Marxism, foster the lofty ideal of communism and the common ideal of socialism with Chinese characteristics, firmly support the leadership of the communist party of China and took an active part in reform and opening up and socialist modernization. Young college students should study hard and deeply understand the spirit of general secretary Xi's speech at the congress commemorating the 100th anniversary of the May 4th anniversary, set high ideals, practice hard skills and maintain good character. He also stressed that the activity is aimed at guiding students to practice core values of socialism, promoting the moral level and civilization quality of college students.
