This net news(text、picture/Publicity department of student union, Shuangqiao campus Huirong Hu) On the occasion of "525" national mental health day for college students and children's day, on the morning of May 26, more than 50 volunteers of Shuangqiao campus came to Rongchang school for autistic children of "le yi fu" campus with carefully prepared gifts to carry out the public welfare activity of "caring for autistic children".

The public welfare activity was jointly held by the student union of the youth league committee and the department of psychological education, aiming to call on the whole society to pay attention to autistic children, take the initiative to accept them and care for them, and let college students learn to care for life, others and society through this activity.

At 8:30 a.m., under the leadership of the school teachers, the volunteers walked into the school for autistic children with gifts such as books, sports equipment and food donated by the teachers and students of the school, and quickly got closer to the children with a sign language performance of "tomorrow will be better". The children also welcomed the volunteers with songs and dances. Volunteers and children together to do manual work, play games, the atmosphere of the event is happy, continuous laughter.

Children with autism are called "star children". Like stars in the sky, they shine alone in their own world, and they need more company and care. The volunteer work department of the campus hopes to call on more people to pay attention to and correctly understand this special group through this public benefit activity, so as to deliver positive social energy and let more autistic children feel the care and warmth from the society.
