Based on the true story of the project team of college students' innovation and entrepreneurship competition, "When we open the sky" tells the story of several grassroots college students who, driven by their initial intention and challenges, set foot on the journey of pursuing their dreams with nothing. After watching the film, the teachers and students were deeply impressed.  deputy director of the Dabin Liu mentioned four words after watching the movie,they respectively are moving, enrage, confidence, and release, moved in the movie the passion of the students and the positive energy, at the same time the film close to university life, close to "Shuangchuang" education, close to the "crucial for poverty alleviation", to "Sannong" problem, artistic reality, not affectation.

He said, in recent years, the school pays attention to the "Shuangchuang" education and practice of the movie plot and concept is the "Shuangchuang" stories of college students, we have the confidence to do better, more deep thinking college should cultivate what kind of person, how to train a person, what is "people-oriented", what is "student-centered".

It is understood the film is the implementation of education minister Baosheng Chen  directive that "we should make our own educational films".It is a tribute to the 70th anniversary of the founding of new China.
