This net news (text/figure Foreign Language Teaching Department) Recently, the organizing committee of the National English Competition for College Students of 2019 announced the list of winners. Six contestants under the guidance of the Foreign Language Teaching Department of our university were awarded the first prize (individual) of the National English Competition for College Students. At the same time, our school also won the "Excellent Organizational Award", which is the best result our school has achieved since participating in the competition.

National English Competition for College Students (NECCS) is the only national college English contest co-sponsored by the college foreign language teaching steering committee of the Ministry of Education and the college foreign language teaching research association of colleges and universities. The final of the 2019 National English Competition for College Students in Chongqing was held in Chongqing University in May. The final consists of written and oral examinations. This year, the number of participants in our school reached an all-time high of 915. After fierce competition, a total of 6 students stood out, representing our school to participate in the final of the 2019 National English Competition for College Students in Chongqing.

It is understood that the competition includes 26 Chongqing universities, including Chongqing University, Sichuan International Studies University, Southwest University and so on, with a total of 33,263 participants.
