Our school Internet of things engineering major was successfully selected.

Internet of things engineering is one of the first undergraduate enrollment majors of our university, and it is the characteristic specialty construction project of Chongqing "three special action plan". This major is in line with the development strategy of China and Chongqing, connecting the industry field of "intelligent big data", and is an important support for the school's "Internet of things +", "software +", "electronic information +", "digital art +", "architectural information +" and "e-commerce +".

After several years of construction, our school has developed into the national Internet of things technology application talent training base, the central financial vocational education training base, the national Internet of things talent training alliance deputy director units. In the past three years, students majoring in Internet of things engineering have won 3 national first prizes, 1 second prize, 3 third prizes and 1 national bronze prize in the "national university biological network design competition". The quality of talent cultivation has been highly praised by the society and employers.

In recent years, our school attaches great importance to professional construction, insists on the combination of long-term development and process construction, insists on the combination of planning goals and specific measures, and has made great progress in the construction of teachers, teaching resources, teaching platform and system and mechanism. The Internet of things project was successfully selected into the first-class professional construction project in Chongqing, which will further promote the intensive development of this major and push the professional construction of the school to a new level.
