The University Held Alumni Conference for the Second Half of 2019

Alumni association members Jianjun Zhou, Yu Dan, Fei Ye, De Chen and some assistant representatives of the Alumni Service Center attended the meeting.

At the meeting, director Liu informed to alumni about the progress of alumni work in the first half of 2019, organized and discussed alumni work plans in the second half of 2019, and clarified the upcoming alumni activities. The year 2019 is designated as the construction year of alumni organization. During this period, the university should strengthen and promote the close contact between alumni and Alma mater, and plan to establish local alumni fellowship branches in Chengdu, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Xi an, Yunnan and other places. The alumni association will hold the 2019 annual alumni meeting of Chongqing Institute of Engineering through consultation and planning by all regional branches.

After the meeting, Secretary of the Party Committee Yeping Zhang communicated with the alumni respectively, fully affirmed the achievements made by the alumni in their respective fields, and highly rated their feelings of the university. Secretary Zhang said that the university has always attached great importance to the work of alumni, and the establishment of a special office for alumni work. The university will strong support alumni work from the construction of alumni information platform, the improvement of alumni organizations, alumni work fund security to other aspects.
