Shuangqiao Campus Held “President and 2019 Students Face to Face” Activities.

President Guoqing Gui, Vice President and Director of the Shuangqiao Campus Management Committee Guohua Jiang and Director of the Academic Affairs Office Jing Li attended the event. More than 700 people from the relevant departments of the Shuangqiao Campus, all counselors, student leaders and student representatives attended the event.

At the meeting, ten students from different majors and classes mainly consulted with President Gui on the topic of professional cognition education, elective course setting, lecture arrangement, library facilities, stadium configuration, and three morning courses, president Gui also made detailed answers one by one. Ling Deng, a student from network and new media of Digital Art Institute, is somewhat confused about the four-year academic program of the university. President Gui suggested that she should seriously consider under the guidance of counselors, class tutors and the "career planning" course. At the same time, she must learn to study independently, and should go to the library to study and participate in community activities. When Linliang Zou, a digital media art student from Digital Art Institute, was in the Three Mornings activities of the consulting school, President Gui explained that the Three Mornings activity is a way to implement quality education, with the aim of improving students’ language skills and health, and improving the overall quality of students. Wenting Fu, a student of data technology and big data science of Software Institute, is worried about sports venues and exercise facilities on campus, president Gui explained the university’s next rectification plan: first, renovate the ancillary facilities of the sports ground, lay the rubber, and increase the indoor activities of the students; second, repair and replace the basketball court facilities in the campus; third, plan to build a stadium.

Finally, President Gui said kindly to all the teachers and students: "The teachers and students are looking forward to the work, encourage teachers and students to participate in the democratic management of the university, and realize the scientific decision-making, all of our functional departments must improve the information collection and feedback mechanism, and make sure that there are replies and parts are implemented, and we will create a warm and harmonious campus environment for our students.” After the meeting, President Gui also listened to the work report of the Shuangqiao campus and accompanied with the assistant Yugang Jian and the director of the Academic Affairs Office Jing Li to visit the teachers' accommodation and had a cordial discussion with the teacher representatives and listened to their opinions and suggestions on the university work.
