Chongqing Institute of Engineering Held the Sixth Plenary Session of the First Staff Congress

Net news (Article/The University Labor Union Li Xiong photo/Student Press Corps Qingjie Lai, Lili Wang) On the afternoon of October 25th, the sixth plenary meeting of the first session of the staff congress was held in the lecture hall of the administrative building, and the professional title evaluation (recommendation) method (revision) was adopted. President Guoqing Gui, party secretary and executive vice President Yeping Zhang, vice President and director of shuangqiao management committee Guohua Jiang, secretary of the commission for discipline inspection and chairman of the labor union Xiaoyong Tang attended as representatives, the meeting was presided over by the vice President of the labor union Li Xiong.

In the meeting, Xiaoyong Tang, chairman of discipline inspection secretary read out the resolution of CQIE labor union committeeabout supplementary of Guoqing Gui as representative of  the first  staff congress and the CQIE labor union committee resolution about termination of Yike Tang and other 11 staff as representatives of the first  staff congress, the first staff congress formally represented by the original 85 staff to 75.

After this,  HR director Yanyan Ming entrusted by the meeting of the Chongqing Institute of Engineering professional titles (recommended) method (revised) detailed interpretation of the background and amending of the content, through discussion, after voting delegates unanimously by examining the CQIE professional titles (recommended) measures (revised). The revision of this regulation reflects the overall requirements of the competent department of professional title reform work, and meets the university’s teaching staff construction and the reform and development of practical, better implementation of the national conference on education and national  university’s undergraduate education conference spirit, strive to promote the “four regression”, to strengthen the evaluation of teachers’ teaching quality and teaching effect and to the teacher’s teaching ability and teaching research and reform achievement of performance evaluation, which is scientific and feasible.

This conference is pragmatic and followed the public opinion. The whole process of the conference is warm and orderly, all the representatives actively participate in the conference with pragmatic discussion and serious vote, well perform their own responsibilities, and fully embodies the high sense of responsibility of the representatives to CQIE masters to participate in the democratic management and decision-making of the university. Delegates agreed to  the CQIE professional titles (recommended) method (revised) for reference, constantly enhance the level of scientific research and promote the development of university reform, insist on adhering to the motto of “conscientiousness, honesty, refinement, innovation”, firmly establish a basic task of “educate the young” with coagulation andand hard workto build a high level university of engineering and technology.
