Good news! Civil Engineering Students Won the Third Prize of National BIM Application Skills Competition in 2019

Net news (Article, photo/Yi Tu, Institute of Civil Engineering) On October 23rd, the final of the 2019 BIM application skills competition (undergraduate group) of national universities was concluded in Nanjing Institute of Engineering. The "Jianchen team" was composed of Hongyou Huang, Lin Lei and Qing Liu, students from engineering cost department of civil engineering institute. In this competition, the team won Third award of the "BIM construction project management competition" with excellent results.

The competition tests the mastery and proficiency of the process, principle and method of BIM Technology Construction Project Management by examining the application of BIM project management electronic sandbox software. Combined with the application of BIM bidding software, BIM construction organization software and BIM construction management software, the competition shows the practical skills of the contestants. Through participating in the competition, the contestants improve their practical innovation ability and enhance their skills and the ability of team assistance.

It is reported that the BIM application skills competition of national universities is one of the most influential top-level competitions in the field of construction in China, known as the "National Games" for engineering management and engineering cost majors, among which the BIM construction project management competition is one of games. The institute of civil engineering of our university has organized students to participate in the competition since 2018. This year, it has won the second prize. In the future, the institute will continue to use the "three in one" engineering practice platform that has been built to improve students' practical ability and strive to make another success in the competition in 2020.
