Our University Held 2019 Teacher Innovation Studio Construction Promotion Work Meeting

Net news (article, photo/ School Labor Union Jian Xiang) In order to do a good job in the construction of our teachers innovation studio, building a teacher Innovation Studio platform, on the afternoon of November 4th,2019 Teacher Innovation Studio Construction Promotion Conference has been held in Conference Room 2. Vice president Qionghua Wang and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection and Chairman of the Labor Union Xiaoyong Tang attended the meeting. About 30 heads of Innovative Studios attended the meeting, and the meeting was chaired by Li Xiong, vice-chairman of the Labor Union.

At the meeting, Secretary Xiaoyong Tang explained the declaration situation of the construction of the Innovation Studio in 2019. He explained <Teacher Innovation Studio Management Method (trial) > in detail. He conveyed the notice of the <Ministry of Labor and Economic Work of the All-China Trade Unions> on the <Notice on the Reporting of Recommend 2019 Employee Innovation Allowance Project> and <Notice on the Recommend of Candidate Project for the 2020 National Science and Technology Progress Award>. He also made work deployment and requirements on “why universities should promote the construction of teacher Innovation Studios” and “how to promote the construction of teacher Innovation Studios”. He emphasized that teacher Innovation Studio construction was a strong practice for schools to respond positively the call of county about mass entrepreneurship and innovation. It is an effective measure to further stimulate the innovation vitality of teachers. It further promotes the school-enterprise cooperation production and education integration of the objective needs of the talent training model. It meets the characteristic development needs of running a distinctive high-level engineering and technology university. Vicepresident Qionghua Wang listened to the difficulties and problems encountered by the representative of the head of the Innovation Studio in the course of work. She also put forward some suggestions on how to bridge the work of the Innovation Studio teachers in the job title evaluation, enterprise practice identification and other works in the next stage.

The purpose of this meeting was to build a platform for teachers to communicate, promote learning exchanges between Innovative Studios, lead teachers to actively participate in the practice of mass entrepreneurship and innovation.
