The Leaders of Chongqing Institute of Engineering Participated in the Eighth National Annual Conference on Teaching Supervision, Quality Evaluation and Quality Assurance System Construction

Net news (Article/Photo Quality Assessment Office Yu Zhao) On November 2nd -3rd, the Eighth Annual Conference on teaching supervision, quality evaluation and quality assurance system construction in Colleges and universities was held in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. More than 1000 representatives from 390 universities (including 41 double first-class universities, 290 Application-oriented Undergraduate Universities and 59 vocational colleges) gathered at the conference. President assistant Longfu Zhou & Yugang Jian, teaching supervisor Mingwu Cao and quality assessment office Yu Zhao attended the conference.

At the meeting, Professor Binglin Zhong, President of China Education Society and chairman of the National Education Professional Degree Education Steering Committee, made a wonderful report on “quality assurance of higher education in the popularization stage”; researcher  Zhi Li, deputy director of the higher education teaching evaluation center of the Ministry of education, took “promoting the construction of China’s higher education quality assurance system practically” as the title, and interpreted the latest teaching evaluation in detail. Professor Youlin Zhu , evaluation expert of the Ministry of education and vice president of Nanchang University, made a special report on the theme of “internal teaching quality assurance and teaching supervision of local comprehensive universities”; Professor Ying He , evaluation expert of the Ministry of education and former president of Heilongjiang University, introduced “the construction and practice of ’3+x’ teaching evaluation and quality monitoring system” of Heilongjiang University. In addition, many experts and scholars from Zhejiang University, Tongji University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Dalian University of Technology, Guilin University of Electronic Science and Technology, Shenzhen Vocational and Technical College and other units made reports on quality construction, quality monitoring, professional certification, supervision and other topics. For the first time, through the Ganjiang Forum, the participants carried out mutual learning and exchange, and discussed new ideas and methods of teaching quality assurance.

It is understood that evaluation and teaching quality supervision is an important part of the teaching quality assurance system in colleges and universities, and plays an important role in improving the teaching quality in colleges and universities. The meeting focused on how to realize the connotative development of higher education, how to establish an efficient internal teaching quality monitoring mechanism, how to improve the self-evaluation mechanism of colleges and universities, and how to improve the teaching quality with students as the center, etc., so that the participants formed a new consensus, and also provided valuable experience and method guidance for promoting the construction of the teaching quality assurance system of our university.
