Look Here! Chongqing Institute of Engineering "Kitchen King Competition" Officially Opened

Net news (articles/Student reporter group, Jinyu Deng pictures /Student reporter group, Jiale Xie) On the afternoon of November 20th, the fifth CQIE "whole food" kitchen king contest was held in Nanquan campus, co-sponsored by the infrastructure department and the student work department. A total of 30 groups of students from the institute of civil engineering and institute of management signed up to participate. President assistant Jiandong Wang, director of student affairs Yan Huang, deputy director of infrastructure department Guoyuan Cheng attended the event, and acted as judges together with teachers from relevant departments and canteen managers. More than 300 teachers and students came to the scene to watch.

The kitchen king champions are divided into preliminary and final, before the official start of the game, assistant Jiandong Wang on behalf of the university gave a speech. He stressed that this contest aimed to enrich the campus culture life, enhance the students' manual ability and consciousness of cooperation, and let the students get work experience during busy study. Then, the host introduced the rules of the competition, and each group should finish a dish in 10-15 minutes. After the preliminary competition, the active performance of each group of contestants pushed the atmosphere of the activity to the climax.

The coke chicken wings made by Jiangli Xu and Ting Sheng, students from the institute of civil engineering, were well handled and tasted sweet but not greasy, winning unanimous praise from the judges.

Hang Zeng from institute of software and Yuewei Li from institute of management teamed up to choose boiled meat as the competition dishes, with strong spicy flavor, soft taste, fresh meat & vegetables and bright red oil soup, deeply loved by the students.

On-site judges unanimously identified that Yige Zhang and Wen Luo from civil engineering institute won the first prize in the kitchen king competition, Jianguo Xiong and Zhiqiang Zhou from electronic information institute won the second prize, Zeng Hang from software institute and Yuewei Li from management institute won the third prize.
