CQIE Held 2019 Qualification Assessment and Education Theory Training Session

At the training session, Dr. Li Fang, an expert in teaching evaluation at ordinary universities of the Ministry of Education and associate researcher at Beijing University of International Business and Economics, was invited to give a lecture on qualification assessment knowledge, and the vice president Professor Changhua Cheng, gave a lecture on education theory in the new era. Faculty members and staff of the school participated in this training, which was chaired by Longfu Zhou, the president assistant.

In the morning, Dr. Fang Li focused on how private undergraduate colleges prepare for the qualification assessment and promote the development of the school's content, from the "core content of the qualification assessment", "what do we need to do to welcome assessment and promote construction", "focus of experts on-site inspection work", "How to excavate and present bright spots" and other aspects. Dr. Fang Li emphasized that the guiding ideology of conformity assessment is "promoting construction with evaluation, promoting reform with evaluation, promoting management with evaluation, combining evaluation with construction, focusing on construction", and the core connotation is "one guide, two prominent, three basic, four promotion", that is, guide the participating schools to build and gradually improve the internal quality guarantee system, form a long-term mechanism to continuously improve the quality of teaching, highlight the service of local (industry) economic and social development, and highlight the school-oriented positioning of training applied talents. The conditions basically meet the national standards, the teaching management is basically standardized, and the teaching quality is basically guaranteed, so as to promote the investment in running schools, improve the running conditions, standardize teaching management, and improve teaching quality.

Dr. Fang Li also took the qualified participating schools as an example to introduce the good experience and practices of other colleges and universities in the assessment of qualifications, from the interpretation of documents, the preparation of materials, the writing of reports, the reception of experts, the focus of evaluation, etc. The assessment of what we should do, with strong practical pertinence and guidance, is the golden key to guide us to do a good job of evaluation and open the door to evaluation and promotion.

In the afternoon, vice president Changhua Cheng gave a report entitled "Channel Raceway-Main Features and Thoughts on the Development of Higher Education in the New Era", focusing on "Creating a Great Channel for Higher Education Development" and "Focus on the Main Channel of New Age Undergraduate Education" The three aspects of "strong track of solid and sophisticated application-oriented talents" profoundly expound the characteristics of the development of higher education in the new era.

Finally, the president Guoqing Gui made a concluding speech. He emphasized that the qualification assessment of undergraduate teaching is the top priority of the school at present. The entire school staff should be dedicated to the undergraduate teaching assessment and construction with mastership, full of enthusiasm and a serious and responsible attitude to successfully pass the qualification assessment of undergraduate teaching work and contribute to the construction of a first-class application-oriented university with distinctive characteristics.
