CQIE Held Month Champion Final of November Morning Class Speech

Net news (Article/Quality education Center, Ting Zhu, Photo/Student press corps, Tian Tian) On the afternoon of November 27th, the “November morning class speech month champion final” of Chongqing Institute of Engineering kicked off in the lecture hall of the administration building. A total of 14 contestants from different departments stood on the platform to compete. The competition was judged by Professor Chunxia Zou from quality education center and excellent teaching assistants from various departments.

This competition is an impromptu speech. Contestants only got their topic 30 minutes before the start of the speech, and then completed the impromptu speech for 3 to 5 minutes according to randomly selected topics. The purpose is to test the players’ ability of improvisation and language organization.

Although the preparation time is very short, but the players have played a steady state of the competition. They cited scripture, with fluent language, expression and emotional podium style, which infected every teacher and student.

According to the consensus of the on-site reviewers, Huiting Tian from the digital art institute won the first prize, Tianyuan Shu from the school of management, Changzhou Lei from the school of civil engineering, Binrui Guo from the school of big data and artificial intelligence won the second prize, and Rui Ji from the school of management, Zhe Li from the school of software, Sha Li from the school of computer and Internet of things, Yaowen Liu from the school of electronic information and Jing Tan from the digital art institute won the third prize, and the rest of the students won the excellent prize.
