Our Cheerleading Team Achieved Good Results in the National Cheerleading League (Chongqing Station) from 2019 to 2020.

Net news (Article / Photo Shuangqiao Campus General Office Yulin Wang)From November 21st to 24th, sponsored by the Gymnastics Management Center of General Administration of Sport, the National cheerleading League held by the National cheerleading Committee from 2019 to 2020(Chongqing Station) held in Yubei Middle School. After more than one year of hard training, the "Shiny Girls" cheerleading team led by Zhi Yuan and Lingyan Zhang, physical education department of our college of general knowledge, finally won the second place in open youth group C flower ball cheerleading, second only to Southwest University of Political Science and Law, and got the qualification to enter the national cheerleading finals directly next year.

It is reported that there are seven groups in the competition: open young children group, open children group, open youth group, open adult group, open disability group and open parent-child group, covering four items: flower ball cheerleading, jazz cheerleading, street dance cheerleading and skilled cheerleading. A total of 200 teams from all over the country took part in the exercise, and more than 4500 athletes took part in it.

In recent years, cheerleading swept across the national campus with a new form of sports. Our school actively advocated cheerleading and promoted it in the whole school through sports and other activities, which created a good atmosphere for the construction and development of cheerleading teams in our school. This not only enriches the extracurricular life of the university, but also enables the students to learn more skills from it, and shows the good ideological and moral character of mutual help and solidarity among the students through the competition.
