Qi Yang, Project General Manager of Singapore CapitaLand Gave a Lecture

Net news (article/ Civil Engineering Institute Yunying Mao photo/ University News Center of Civil Engineering Institute Yuxi Wang) On the afternoon of November 27th, Qi Yang, general manager of CapitaLand group, master of civil engineering of National University of Singapore, and member of the society of engineers of Singapore came to our school and held a special lecture entitled "Broaden International Vision And Cultivate All-round Quality". The lecture was held in the academic lecture hall of Nanquan campus, which was also the "Mingjian Forum" lecture activity of civil engineering institute in 2019. Director of the office of civil engineering institute Yunying Mao was the host, and some teachers' representatives of the college and all students of the class of 2017 and 2018 attended.

In the lecture, general manager Qi Yang chose raffles plaza, a super development project invested by CapitaLand group in China to launch the topic, and made a detailed analysis of the development history and future trend of the current construction industry. When talking about how to improve the competitiveness of the industry, Qi Yang as a senior in the industry put forward his own views and suggestions to the present students. When questions, Mingke Liu from 2017 environmental design , and Qian Liu from 2017 project cost consulted about personal future career development and industry segments to Qi Yang from the perspective of their own major. General Manager Yang also gave his carefully selected books to the students after answering the related questions.

At the end of the lecture, general manager Yang sent his best wishes to all the students. He said, "You are full of vigor and vitality, just like the sun at eight or nine o 'clock in the morning. I hope you can stand higher and see further in the future." He also hopes that students from Chongqing Institute of Engineering can occupy a place in the construction field of Chongqing in the future, fully reflecting the professional strength of our school as an application-oriented undergraduate school in promoting local development.
