Party Secretary Yeping Zhang Went to Chongqing Second Normal University to Investigate and Evaluate the Qualification of Undergraduate Teaching

The principal of Chongqing Second Normal University Huiping Du, the heads of the relevant functional departments and the school's study group exchanged in-depth discussions on undergraduate talent training, professional construction, and experience & practices to meet the evaluation of the Ministry of Education.

At the symposium, Huiping Du briefly introduced the school running characteristics of Chongqing Second Normal University and the specific situation in the process of welcome evaluation. Yeping Zhang, on behalf of the Chongqing Institute of Engineering, expressed his gratitude to the Second Normal University for his warm reception. He hoped that through this opportunity, he would learn from the advanced experience of sibling colleges in the work of welcoming evaluation and promoting construction, and provide new ideas & suggestions Countermeasures. After listening to the specific situation of CQIE-based assessment, President Huiping Du put forward several suggestions based on the assessment work experience of the Second Normal University. He pointed out that the main purpose of conformity assessment is to promote construction through evaluation, to help schools to further clarify professional positioning and training goals through assessment work, and to provide new directions & measures for school construction. He suggested that, first, the implementation of the "13th Five-Year Plan" and the formulation of the "14th Five-Year Plan" are a key point. Second, before the experts enter the school, the undergraduate status data is the key, and the data must be able to accurately reflect the current status of the school. Third, the qualification assessment work should be started as early as possible, it should be deployed in advance, it must strive for resources from all parties, create school characteristics, turn pressure into momentum, and turn crisis into opportunity, and truly achieve the purpose of promoting evaluation by construction and reform.

After the symposium, the inspection team conducted in-depth exchanges on discipline and professional construction, talent training, teacher construction, evaluation index interpretation and data preparation, and visited the evaluation archives room of Chongqing Second Normal University.
