He said that in 2019, the school alumni work mainly around the "gradually improve the organization, steadily promote alumni activities, innovation to create alumni forum, meticulously designed alumni annual meeting" four aspects of implementation, achieved certain results.

In the new year, the school will continue to improve and develop alumni organizations, maintain alumni propaganda position, plan alumni activities carrier, plan to set up elite alumni group, carry out a good alumni work summary, alumni work please climb another high building.

Longfan Zhang, president of the Chengdu Alumni Association Branch, spoke on behalf of the alumni, who shared his experience of learning, growth and development after graduation, and expressed his deep feelings and gratitude for the school.

Secretary Yeping Zhang introduced the new changes and developments of the school in recent years from the aspects of connotation construction, hardware construction and environmental change. He also warmly welcomed and thanked all the alumni who had returned to their Alma mater from their busy schedule.

In view of the alumni work, President Guoqing Gui pointed out that the work of alumni association plays a very important role in the development of the school, and alumni should participate in the revision of the school talent training program and the management of teaching. In the next step, he suggested, the Alumni Association should also hold a formal preparatory meeting to complete the organizational structure as soon as possible.

As for the relationship between alumni and Alma mater, President Yike Tang talked about his feelings, saying that alumni are the source of his Alma mater's reputation, the resource of its development and the driving force for its progress.

Therefore, the school has always attached great importance to the work of the Alumni Association, but also hopes that the work of the Alumni Association continues to advance, more and more prosperous, I hope that the cause of alumni is growing stronger and stronger, and the school will develop better and better with the support of alumni.

In the evening, alumni were invited to watch the Chongqing Institute of Engineering's 2020 New Year's Eve party, and offered a bronze tripod to the school, praying for the school to inherit civilization and flourish.

It is reported that forty of the 56 alumni who returned to school for the annual meeting started their own companies, 11 of whom have formed partnerships with the school.
