A letter to all Counselors

Dear counselors and teachers:

At the beginning of the first month of the year, Jinping Xi, general secretary of the Republic of China, chaired the Standing Committee of the Central Political Bureau and delivered an important speech. He issued a call to win the battle against epidemic prevention and control, and brought confidence and strength to millions of people in the cold winter. Our school has launched level I response to major public health emergencies in accordance with the relevant notice requirements. All counselors have been working hard to fight against the epidemic, comprehensively arranging students' information, tracking students' itinerary at any time, and accurately mastering students' health status. The student work department and the student office of the Party committee express their sincere thanks and high respect to all the counselors for their hard work!

Counselors are the life tutors and intimate friends of college students, and the backbone of practicing the "first-line rules". Facing the urgent and dangerous work, they are always in front of them. They are the first people to think of when students encounter difficulties. In order to win the war without gunpowder and protect the health of our students, no matter where you are at this time, please do the following:

First, in a special period, we should be firm in our sense of overall situation. Epidemic prevention and control is the most important work at present. General secretary Jinping Xi stressed: "Party organizations at all levels and Party members and cadres must always bear in mind that the interests of the people are above everything else" and "firmly rely on the masses and resolutely win the battle against epidemic prevention and control." According to the unified arrangement and deployment of the University, the Student Work Department of the Party committee continuously issued work tips and epidemic notification, and strengthened the prevention and control of epidemic situation of student groups. It is hoped that all counselors will strengthen the overall situation awareness, improve their political positions, earnestly implement the specific tasks of the school on epidemic prevention and control, and take this work as a political task to implement, so as to be responsible.

Second, we should be precise in our arrangement and establish a sense of responsibility. It's a holiday. Maybe you're filial to your elders and accompanying your children. But between epidemic prevention and personal arrangement, you choose to obey the overall situation and resolutely rush to the battlefield against the epidemic. I hope you can protect yourself and your family, and your health is also our concern. I hope you can set an example for students in epidemic prevention and control, try not to travel or meet, report the itinerary for approval in advance, and return to active home isolation. I hope you can get the understanding and support of your family, and implement all the work of the school: keep the communication unblocked at all times, pay close attention to the work dynamics and Deployment, timely and accurate submission of all statistical information; touch platoon should not leave one person, accurately grasp the student dynamics; inform each student not to leave home, not to return to school in advance, patiently wait for the school opening notice; pay close attention to the student's physical condition, report the abnormal situation in time; remind students to enhance self-protection awareness, strictly abide by the local disease control and prevention measures; call on Students Love the great motherland, shoulder the responsibility of the times, and make due contributions to the national prevention and control work!

Third, we should do a good job in bridges and convey care and warmth without interruption. Although we can't face to face with students, "key to key" can also make us "heart to heart" with students. I hope you can make good use of the Internet as a medium to ensure that every student can be contacted properly, accurately grasp the student's holiday situation, and build a "bridge of information"; interpret national policies for students, introduce prevention and control knowledge, guide students to treat the epidemic situation rationally and scientifically, and build a "bridge of reason" without unbelief or rumor; regularly contact students point-to-point, especially in areas with serious epidemic situation Students and students with abnormal physical conditions should timely feedback their physical health and build a "warm bridge".

General Secretary Jinping Xi stressed weightier than Mount Tai. Epidemic is command, prevention and control is responsibility.
