Happy news! Yannan Wang, Excellent Teacher of the Internet of Things Engineering Department of CQIE, was Awarded Chongqing City Worker Vanguard Labor Medal

Net news (School Labor Union Li Xiong) On April 24th, the Chongqing Federation of Trade unions issued a decision on the recognition of the 2020 Chongqing May 1st Labor Award and the vanguard of Chongqing workers. (Yudao [2020] No. 5), awarded 94 advanced units Chongqing five-labor certificate, awarded 186 advanced individuals Chongqing May 1st labor medal, awarded 183 advanced collective Chongqing workers vanguard. Wang Yannan, employment chief of the school of management, won the Chongqing May 1st Labor Medal, and the Department of Internet of things engineering of the College of computer and Internet of things won the honorary title of Chongqing workers.

In 2010, Yannan Wang entered Chongqing Institute of Engineering as a   full-time teacher in the Department of Business Administration. During   this period, he presided over and participated in a number of national and municipal regional projects, published four periodical papers, and guided students to participate in various professional competitions. He won 1   national third prize, 2 municipal first prize, and 2 municipal third prize. In the Chongqing IT Industry Workers' skills Competition held in 2019, the student team guided by Mr. Wang was awarded the offline       developer Competition.

The Department of Internet of things engineering of the College of       computer and Internet of things won the title of "excellent teaching     team" at the school level in 2017 and 2019. A total of 18 teaching and research projects, 10 scientific research projects and more than 50 public papers were published. In addition, 132 awards were awarded to students majoring in Internet of things engineering, 11 items of national college   students' innovation and entrepreneurship training program,      2 items of incubating students' patents and 6 student enterprises   were declared. In 2019, they were evaluated as the "first-class major" construction project of undergraduate colleges and universities in Chongqing.

On the occasion of the arrival of International Labor Day on May 1st, the Chongqing Federation of Trade unions concentrated on honoring a      number of advanced collectives and advanced individuals who have made outstanding achievements in the reform and development of the whole   city, and hereby congratulates our school on the award-winning individuals and units. It is hoped that the teaching staff of the whole school will take the recognized advanced representatives as an example, based on their own work, dare to bear responsibility and seek pragmatism, vigorously carry forward the spirit of love, dedication and innovation, and contribute more wisdom and strength to the future development of the school.
