Graduation Ceremony 2020: President Guoqing Gui Encouraged Graduates to Be "the Strivers of Rush"

Guoqing Gui, President of Chongqing Institute of Engineering, Mingzhu Tan, Party Secretary, Yeping Zhang, Deputy Party Secretary and Executive Vice President, Changhua Cheng, Qionghua Wang, Guohua Jiang Vice President, Xiaoyong Tang, Secretary of discipline Inspection Commission and Chairman of Trade Union, Assistant Qigui Tan, Longfu Zhou, Yugang Jian, Jiandong Wang and other school leaders attended the ceremony. The dean and secretary of each secondary college, the head of each functional department of the school, the representative of teachers & graduates and more than 300 people attended the ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Yeping Zhang, deputy secretary and executive vice president of the party committee. For the first time, the event was carried out in a combination of online and offline. All teachers and students of the school can watch the live broadcast of the live activities through online video.

The graduation ceremony officially kicked off in the solemn national anthem. First, Vice President Changhua Cheng read out the decision of Chongqing Institute of Engineering to grant a bachelor's degree to the class of 2020 graduates. This degree award ceremony for Fangyu Zhou and other 2957 people awarded a bachelor's degree.

Mingzhu Tan, secretary of the party committee, read out “The Decision of Chongqing Institute of Engineering on Commending Outstanding Graduates in 2020”, which commended 58 representatives of outstanding graduates of the 2020 class.

Pan Yan and Yonglong Wang of the College of Computer and Internet of things were appraised as "excellent graduates of Chongqing Municipality ", Xuxia Zhou and Jianxin He of Software College were appraised as" outstanding graduates of the 2020 class ", Wenqi Zhao and Jianxin He of Digital Art College were appraised as "independent entrepreneurship award ", and Yu Tan and Yu Chen of Electronic Information College were awarded as “Master of Undergraduate Upgrades award". After reading out, the school leaders present in turn for outstanding graduate representatives award.

Graduate representatives of secondary colleges also presented souvenirs for their alma mater.

Next came a speech by representatives of teachers and students, Fangyu Zhou, a graduate of engineering cost at the Institute of Civil Engineering and a winner of the 2017 National motivational Scholarship, speaking on behalf of the graduates. She recalled her college career in Chongqing Institute of Engineering and expressed her gratitude to the school and teachers.

Yingji Li, a teacher of the School of Management, spoke on the stage as a representative of the tutor. On behalf of the school, Mr. Li blessed the graduating students and hoped that they would continue to have expectations for the future and keep a proud and proud heart.

President Guoqing Gui gave a graduation speech on the theme of "to be a surging striver" after formally awarding a bachelor’s degree to graduate representatives. After the ceremony, school leaders, tutor representatives and graduate representatives came to the green belt near the sixth school building and planted the 2020 class graduate memorial tree together.
