The School of Civil Engineering Organized and Held the Review Meeting of 2020 Undergraduate Professional Talent Training Program

Net news ( Article/ Photo Jinneng Wang, school of civil engineering ) In order to further strengthen the professional construction and improve the quality of the talent training, the school of civil engineering organized and held the review meeting of 2020 undergraduate professional talent  training program on the morning of June 24th. The meeting invited professor Linqing Huang, former dean of School of Architecture and Engineering, Chongqing University of Science and Technology, professor level senior engineer Xinfei Huang, Deputy Director of Engineering Department of Chongqing    Expressway Investment Group, professor Jianhua Yong, School of Art, Chongqing Technology and Business University and Lina Xie, senior engineer of Chongqing Design Institute served as a review expert. Professor Hong Ren ,the former dean of School of Construction and Management and Real Estate, Chongqing University, school of Civil Engineering, Chongqing Instute of Technology served as expert group leader. Jiang Lei, executive dean of the Institute of Civil Engineering, Jinneng Wang, and Quping Zhu, vice presidents of the college, led the principals of each department to attend the meeting.

At the review meeting, Jiang Lei introduced in detail the principles and opinions on the preparation of the 2020 version of the talent training program of our university, as well as the undergraduate talent training of the college. The responsible persons of the civil engineering department, the engineering management department and the environmental design department respectively introduced the professional talent training plan of the 2020 edition. The expert group made a comprehensive exchange and guidance on the personnel training orientation, talent training objectives, professional curriculum system and its basis, professional practice teaching link design and other dimensions, and put forward suggestions on the revision and implementation of the training program.

The purpose of this review meeting is to help the college carefully review the talent training plan of each undergraduate specialty, and propose effective professional solutions for the existing problems. This will not only help to consolidate the achievements of professional construction, but also further improve the top-level design of the major, so as to lay a solid foundation for improving the quality of talent cultivation of the college.
