At the opening ceremony, Zhang Yeping, secretary of the Party Committee and executive Vice President, reviewed the development history of Chongqing Institute of Engineering with sureness and diligence all the way today, and always firmly towards the distinctive characteristics of the first-class university of engineering and technology and strive hard, thus told us the goal is firm, has the work pattern which has the ability. President GUI Guoqing shared the school's development plan and the "three major" goals for the next ten years, and hoped that all the faculty and staff would integrate into the CQIE family as soon as possible and get familiar with the working environment, give play to the spirit of "ownership", based on the position, constantly improve, and contribute their own strength to the development of the school.

In terms of the setting of the training courses, leaders of the Education Department, the Science and Technology Department, the Teaching Quality and Evaluation Office, the HR Department (Teacher Development Center), the Student Affairs Office and the Network Information Center were invited. Conducted in-depth but simple training on education and teaching, teachers' ethics, teaching quality assurance, application of scientific research projects, policies and systems, office procedures, student training and informatization procedures, etc. At the same time, we will arrange practical training such as scientific voice, PPT making and backbone teachers to share the special report on "How to Take root in CQIE" for new employees based on their own experience, centering on "one firm platform, one firm scientific research, two hands to lift students and integrate into the family of CQIE".
