Our School Held the Cadre Summer Training and Retreat Meeting in 2020

On the morning of September 3rd, our school held the cadre summer training and retreat meeting for all cadres in the Nanquan school stairway classroom in 2020. This training meeting was held for two days, all the school leading cadres at both the senior and vice-minister levels participate in the meeting, which was held by the HR office and the party and government offices.

During this meeting, Yao Xiyuan, president of the Zhengzhou Institute of Industrial Application and Technology, was invited to attend the meeting. A special report entitled “Guide to the Assessment of Undergraduate Teaching Qualification” was also made by him. Professor Yao explained the understanding of undergraduate teaching qualification assessment, some matters needing attention and suggestions of the work. Besides, Professor Yao’s teaching training has strong guidance, practicality and operability, which for our school to prepare for the evaluation, high standards and high quality to accept the ministry of education under graduated teaching assessment points out the direction.

After the meeting, President Gui Guoqing made a summer speech. He pointed out that our school’s three goals for the next ten years are as follows. First, pass the undergraduate course teaching qualification evaluation. Second, apply for master’s degree awarding point. The third is to change the name from college to university. At present, the main goal of the school is to pass the assessment of undergraduate teaching qualification and this year is a crucial year for preparation. Headmaster Gui stressed last time, this training work is a practical step to implement general secretary Xi Jinping’s important statement on education. It is an effective way to carry out the organizational line of the Party in the new era, further strengthen the construction of the contingent of high-quality professional cadres, improve the political quality, professional knowledge and management level of our cadre troops, and it is a practical measure to accomplish the task of the school's stated goal effectively, and keep pushing the school forward towards a high-level university with distinctive characteristics.
