Congratulations to the Institute of Electronics and Information on its Success in the 7th “Datang Cup” Provincial Competition

This net news (articles/pictures the Institute of electronics and information Gang Dong) From July 4th to 5th, the 7th “Datang Cup” national mobile communication 5G technology competition was held online, there were nearly 300 colleges and universities all over the country with 8000 students. 78 students from the school of electronics and information of our university participated in the competition on behalf of our school, and won 38 awards finally, including 7 first prizes, 12 second prizes and 19 third prizes. The first prize will be directly promoted to the national competition.

The competition is highly professional and requires a high level of communication theoretical knowledge, which includes 4G/5G technology theory and simulation practice project. The comprehensive ability of the players such as mobile communication technology is investigated through theoretical and practical items. The contestants sent by the Institute of electronic information technology were divided into 39 groups, and the instructors Gang Dong and Jie Jiang of each group had been working hard to form a competition group since the beginning of March this year. Through participating in the Datang Mobile school network and combining with the classroom of this semester, the students learned the contest content systematically. QQ group video was used to complete the counseling, tutoring and answering questions and experience exchange among members. Through a whole semester of online learning and offline learning, students have greatly improved their understanding of 5G theory and practice, and finally achieved outstanding results in the competition.

It is reported that the competition is sponsored by the talent exchange center of the Ministry of industry and information technology, China Communications Enterprise Association, Datang Mobile Communication Equipment Limited, Beijing Municipal Education Commission, and Beijing University electronic information professional group, North University of Technology, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Datang monument is a national academic and engineering innovation competition project with college students as the main body. The excellent results of the competition showed that the school has made new achievements in deepening the reform of education and teaching and constantly improving the quality of personnel training, and new achievements have been made in improving the quality of personnel training.
