The Teaching Faculty of Our Campus Won the Third Prize of the National University Teaching Innovation Competition

Net news(articles/Teacher Development Center Xiaoying Zhang  pictures/Big Data Academy Yiran Chen) The fifth XJTLU National University Teaching Innovation Award Final was held in Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University on August 1st. The competition team composed of our school teachers Weiwei Tao and Xiaoying Zhang had the honor to win the third prize in this innovation competition with the theme of "The road of technological integration of goals, systems, models, classrooms, and evaluation".

XJTLU National University Teaching Innovation Award is organized by the college’s leader and ILEAD, which intend for digging and rewarding the teachers from institution of higher education with “student-centered” instructional concept, as well as disseminate innovative measures in teaching reform with this idea. The competition has been held five times so far, as the influence grows, this year's XJTLU National University Teaching Innovation Competition inaugurated on May 17th, 2019, with 217 teams of 454 teachers participating from Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Jilin University, East China Normal University, Nanjing University of Technology, Dalian University of Science and Technology, etc. The competition lasted for nearly a year and passed fierce competition in the information preliminary trial, public review, field survey, proficient letter evaluation, on-site teaching innovation exhibit. Ultimately, our school teachers contested with professional subject teachers from well-known universities across the country on the same stage and won the third prize with the projects relying on the practical teaching outcome integrated innovation with technique. This competition fully demonstrated our teachers' courage in teaching innovation, carried through the teaching concept of "student-centered", persistently explore innovative practices and create up-to-date achievements for school education and teaching reform.
