The New College Student Press Team and College Student new Media Center Were Formally Established

Pengtao Zhao of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of Chongqing Institute of Engineering attended, and all members of the new college student press team and various departments of the New Media Center attended.

Niejun Wang, head of the 7th College Student Journalist Group, welcomed all the new members, and Pengtao Zhao, deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee, announced the formal establishment of the College Student New Media Center. Minister Zhao summarized the work of the previous press corps, fully affirmed the work of all members of the press corps, and also explained the nature and interrelationship of the work of the college student reporter corps and the college student new media center. Finally, Minister Zhao hopes that the two teams can complement each other and work together to forge ahead in future campus publicity and cultural construction work.

Qingqing Tian, the first director of the University New Media Center, gave a detailed introduction to the relevant work of the center. Niejun Wang, the head of the reporter team, summarized the meeting and introduced the team's work system and recent team arrangements. He suggested that every student journalist and propaganda worker should bear the big responsibility, keep in mind the mission, always uphold the heart of a child, and never stop and go further and further on the road of news and propaganda! At the same time, he also hopes that his classmates can get to the next level in the big family of the press team and the new media center, and reap love and warmth. Finally, the central group of the party committee learned the relevant knowledge of the Civil Code, and conducted a detailed understanding of the introduction of the Civil Code, the popularization of knowledge, and the meaning of the Civil Code. Participants believed that the Civil Code has an important position in the socialist legal system with Chinese characteristics. It is a fundamental law that solidifies the foundation, stabilizes expectations, and is beneficial to the long-term. It is important for advancing the comprehensive rule of law, accelerating the construction of a socialist country under the rule of law, and for the development of society. The socialist market economy and the consolidation of the basic socialist economic system are of great significance for adhering to the people-centered development ideology, safeguarding people’s rights and interests in accordance with the law, promoting the development of China’s human rights cause, and promoting the modernization of the national governance system and governance capabilities.

It is reported that the New Media Center for College Students of our school is a newly established school-level student group this semester. The center is based on the campus publicity platform, using new media such as Weibo and WeChat as carriers, involved in information dissemination, student activity planning and promotion, and new media platform construction. And so on. The main business includes new media design and production, micro video and social networking. With new media as the core feature, the school serves a wide range of teachers and students, and enhances the school’s social influence and popularity outside the school.
