The Young Teachers of Our School Have Achieved Excellent Results in the Teaching Competition of Young Teachers of Colleges and Universities in Chongqing

September 20th-23rd, from Chongqing city federation of trade unions, the communist party of China Chongqing Municipal Education Committee and Chongqing Municipal Education Committee, General Trade Union Committee, the Yangtze River in Chongqing Normal University to undertake the fifth young teachers teaching in colleges and universities in Chongqing Labor and Skills Contest Finals held in Li Du in Changjiang Normal College campus.

The competition attracted 167 young teachers under the age of 40 from 50 colleges and universities in the city (including 44 in the liberal arts group, 35 in the science group, 45 in the engineering group, and 43 in the ideological and political science group) who were engaged in education and teaching. Among them, 17 private colleges and universities had the highest number of participants. With the theme of "be a good master and make contributions to the new era" and the concept of "Take a good course", the competition takes teaching design (20 points) and on-site teaching (80 points) as investigation points. Participants should complete the teaching design of 20 class hours of the participating courses and PPT corresponding to 20 teaching sections. The order of participants should be determined by drawing lots one day before the competition starts, and the teaching sections should be selected 30 minutes before the competition starts for on-site teaching, which is conducive to the training of the basic teaching skills and the improvement of the adaptability of education. The school attaches great importance to this competition. After several rounds of selection, the school has selected Rui He, Jie Peng, Haiyan Hu and Weiwei Tao from The School of Digital Art to participate on behalf of the school.

With the support of leaders at all levels, the four participating teachers have experienced nearly five months of serious and hard preparation. Finally, through the fierce competition in teaching design and classroom teaching, they showed their solid subject knowledge, excellent teaching skills and proficient classroom management ability. In the end, Teacher Rui He and Teacher Jie Peng won the second prize of engineering group and the third prize of science group respectively. They are also the only private school to win this award. Miss Hu Haiyan and Miss Weiwei Tao won the award of excellence respectively in Ideological and Political Science group and Liberal Arts Group, which fully demonstrated the teaching level and elegant demeanor of young teachers in our school.
