The Management School Launches Professional Cognitive Education Activities for 2020 Freshmen

Confronting freshmen, the deans of each department carried on a special presentation on "my university, my major, my study, and my university life": Xiaobo Zhou, the marketing professional teacher, broken the stereotype of students who think “marketing is selling” through analyzed marketing activities via some typical marketing cases systematically to show students that marketing is a challenging, attractive, and promising profession; E-commerce teacher Chao Song, introduced in detail the developing situation of the industry, talents demand and talent development scheme of “school-enterprise cooperation” in this field, which led students to stir up the idea of “ internship in Ali base while studying”; The financial management teacher Zhongming Guan demonstrated the teaching characteristics "course integrated with certificate" of this major and guided the students to master a four-year course study as well as obtain professional qualification certificate and lay an excellent foundation for future career development; Human resources management teacher Xianhang Xu gave a detailed introduction to the "Pearl Project", hoping the students can grow into elite talents with excellent “IQ, EQ, instrument quotient plus professional ability”. After that, Dean Mei and Secretary Liu also gave encouragement to students and hoped they would start a new career in life at the beginning of college and pursue excellence in realizing their ideals. Secretary Liu also suggested to students three hopes of forming great habits, training personal abilities and improving the comprehensive quality. He wished everyone would study hard, make progress and succeed in their studies.

Through this professional cognition education activity, it helped the 2020 freshmen to establish their professional knowledge, confidence in professional prospects and their enthusiasm for professional learning, simultaneously, enhanced the students' sense of identity, belonging and pride for their college.
