The Grade of 2018 Students of the Department of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Visited Chongqing Tencent Data Center

Net news (Article/ the Department of Big Data Qian Yang Pictures/ the Department of Big Data Wei Shang) In order to promote the department of the students to have the opportunity to learn more cutting-edge knowledge of their own professional technology development and increase more experiential learning experience, so as to further promote the development of school enterprise cooperation, on October 21st, all students of grade 2018 of the department of big data and artificial intelligence of our school visited Chongqing Tencent Cloud Computing Data Center located in Liangjiang New Area.

The visit was led by Qian Yang, vice president of the department and Wei Shang, deputy secretary of the party branch of the department. After the students came to the data center, the center leader introduced the overall operation of the data center in detail, including Tencent’s third generation T-MDC technology and the fourth generation T-BLOCK technology. Later, the person in charge also led them to visit the internal structure of the data center T-BLOCK, and the students learned the latest technology and functions of relevant industries on site. Everyone expressed the hope that there will be more opportunities for visiting and practicing in the future, and that the professional knowledge learned can be applied to practice and the actual operation.

After the visit, Chongqing Tencent Data Center communicated with the relevant principals of our school, put forward professional suggestions on the current design scheme of professional personnel training and professional setting of our university, and put forward views on how to strengthen the in-depth cooperation between the university and enterprises in the future.

It is reported that the Cloud Computing Data Center of Chongqing Tencent is the fourth self-built large data center cluster of Tencent group after Tianjin, Shanghai and Shenzhen Shantou cooperation area. The future will rely on Tencent Cloud computing data center in Chongqing. In the Liangjiang New Area, it will build a “Tencent Internet plus cloud platform” and set up regional service marketing center to further promote the deep integration between “Chongqing Internet plus public service”, and carry out “Chongqing Internet plus industry” and “Chongqing Internet plus rural” cooperation.
