The "General Education Forum" of Shuangqiao Campus for the Academic Year 2020-2021 was Officially Opened

Net news (articles /pictures General college Yidou Wan) In order to better improve students' scientific and humanistic quality, the "General Education Forum" of Shuangqiao Campus for the academic year 2020-2021 was officially opened on the afternoon of October 14th.  Guohua Jiang, vice President of The University, director of the Management Committee of Shuangqiao Campus and dean of the College of General Studies, was the keynote speaker at the opening lecture, attended by more than 600 freshmen from Shuangqiao Campus.

The theme of this lecture is "Questions of Universities". President Jiang will focus on "Where do we come from? Who are we? Where are we going?" Several questions were carried out. Through case analysis and on-site interaction, it elaborated the way of university and the educational purpose of each university, and reminded students to think carefully about what they should do and how to make their university life more meaningful. Finally, President Jiang suggested that students should establish a correct world outlook, outlook on life and values at the early stage of university, and have a clear positioning for their learning goals and career plans.

It is reported that the College of General Education will organize more than 10 "general Education forums" every semester, and invite experts from outside the school to carry out more than 5 "CQIE forums". This opening lecture is of guiding significance to help first-year students improve their personal thinking ability and organize their university learning goals.
