Good News! Our Teachers and Students Won the First, Second and Third Prizes of the Third Chongqing Innovation Method Competition

Net news (Article/ Photo Sijing Zhu, College of Innovation and Entrepreneurship).From October 31st to November 1st, the 2020 China Innovation Method Competition (Chongqing competition area) and the Final of the Third Chongqing Innovation Method Competition, was held in Chongqing Institute of Science and technology from October 31st to November 1st. Teachers and students of our school won first prize, second prizes and third prizes in this competition. It was jointly sponsored by Chongqing Science and Technology Bureau, Chongqing Science and Technology Association, Chongqing Institute of science and technology and Chongqing Federation of trade unions. Our school won the Excellent Organization Unit Award, and Minghui Yang won the excellent award of innovative teaching method teaching achievement, Tianhua Yan was awarded the excellent instructor, and Sijing Zhu was awarded the excellent Organizer. Since the school participated, the number of winners and awards has reached the best in the competition. In addition, winners have also obtained the qualification of the TRIZ special competition of university students of China Innovation Method Competition in 2021 (the Ninth China TRIZ Cup University Students Innovation Method Competition).

Since the competition was launched in September this year, the team of teachers and students in our school began to prepare carefully and entered the competition state ahead of time, selected 21 entries entered the preliminary evaluation, and 8 works have stood out from 208 entries. Among them, the team of "meeting the talents and thinking together" was shortlisted in the final defense of the Third Chongqing Innovation Method Competition with a non-contact switch project suitable for the hospital consulting room, and won the first prize successfully.

It is reported that the innovation method competition means to strengthen the research and application of innovative methods, which is an important measure to enhance the ability of independent innovation from the source. Our school has been adhering to the innovation and entrepreneurship education mode of "promoting teaching by competition, learning promoting learning, learning promoting innovation, learning promoting application". The teachers and students of the school combine scientific innovation theory with grass-roots innovation practice, actively serve the local economic and social development, solve the core technical problems restricting the development of enterprises and industries, and form an economic system and development model with innovation as the main guidance and support it further promotes the deep integration between science and technology and economy.
