Our School Organized the 2020 Community Guidance Teacher Work Meeting

In order to continue to do a good job in the construction of student associations to guide teachers and promote the healthy and orderly development of student associations, on October 28th, our school organized the 2020 Association guidance teacher work meeting. Mingzhu Tan, secretary of the school party committee, Jiandong Wang, president assistant, attended the meeting. The head of the propaganda department of the party committee, the department of learning and engineering of the party committee, the school league committee, and the guidance teacher of the student association in Nanquan campus attended the meeting, which was presided over by Huang Tao, secretary of the school league committee.

At the work meeting, all the staff jointly studied the Measures for the Construction and Management of Student Associations in Colleges and Universities issued by the CPC Ministry of Education Party Group and the Communist Youth League Central Committee. Huang Tao, secretary of the CYL Committee, introduced in detail the revised background of this year's Measures for the Construction and Management of Student Associations in Chongqing Institute of Engineering, and interpreted them one by one from seven aspects: management responsibilities, teacher selection and management, student association organization construction, activity management, fund management, propaganda management, and discipline and accountability.

Jiandong Wang, president assistant, introduced the basic ideas of the reform of student associations in recent years: first, to strengthen the Party's overall leadership over the work of student associations; second, to promote the construction of student associations by category, hierarchy and stages, relying on discipline and professional strength; third, to carry out the management responsibilities of student associations, to formulate positive and negative lists of student associations, to standardize the daily management of student associations, and to consolidate the main responsibilities of guiding units; and fourth, to do a good job in the training of student. Assistant Wang put forward that since the reform of student associations, the construction of associations has initially formed a good situation of "four-party linkage" between schools, business guidance units, professional guidance teachers and participating students, and the results of educating people have been constantly revealed.

Mingzhu Tan, secretary of the Party Committee, stressed in his summary that student associations are an important carrier for carrying out the fundamental task of building up people by virtue and promoting quality education, and an important part of the work of the Party's mass groups. The school league committee, affiliated units and guidance teachers should constantly improve their political position, clarify the construction objectives of student associations, and develop prospective student associations. Secretary Tan also proposed that the work of student associations should adhere to problem-oriented, goal-oriented, result-oriented, through ensuring the implementation of the system, adhere to joint management, and strengthen training guidance and other measures. To guide teachers to deal with the relationship between the stable development of student associations and the cultivation of characteristics, the relationship between the professionalism and interest of community activities, the relationship between student associations and disciplines, the work of student associations should be able to solve the development problems and stimulate their own vitality.

It is reported that in recent years, the school league committee through the establishment of student associations to guide teachers, regular teacher guidance seminars, student backbone training sessions, at the same time in-depth interviews and research units, actively seek the construction and development of student associations.
