The University Organized and Conducted Practical Lectures on Contract Law

Net news (articles/pictures/Legislative affairs office Li Huang) In order to further promote the school's management by law, improve the school's contract management level, and enhance the awareness of legal risk prevention, on the afternoon of November 13th, the School's Legal Affairs Office held a practical lecture on contract Law in the fourth meeting room of the Nanquan Campus office building. Yeping Zhang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and executive Vice President of the university, and Guohua Jiang, vice President of the University attended the training. More than 70 people attended the training, including heads of functional departments, presidents of secondary colleges, and principals in charge of contract affairs of various units.

The university has invited Hongkai Liu from Tai He Tai (Chongqing) Law Firm to give a lecture on the practice of contract law. Lawyer Liu explained on the spot the legal provisions of contract signing, contract performance, contract termination, remedy for breach of contract, contract review and so on. Based on his successful handling of many representative cases, he shared the contract law knowledge involved in the cases, and pointed out the significance and necessity of the prevention of relevant legal risks. While introducing the laws and regulations, lawyer Liu also explained the relevant matters that should be paid attention to in the drafting, examination and signing of contracts in practice, which played a positive role in guiding the legal risk prevention of contract management in our school.

It is reported that Hongkai Liu joined Chongqing Suotong law firm in 2015 and transferred to Tai He Tai (Chongqing) law firm in February 2020, specialized in banking, real estate construction, financial guarantee, private lending, enterprise bankruptcy liquidation and reorganization and other fields of civil and commercial legal services.
