Our School Held the Double Selection Meeting of the Municipal Education Commission to Send Positions to Colleges and Universities (Banan area) and the Employment of Graduates in Autumn 2020

According to the requirements of normalized epidemic prevention and control, the double election meeting was divided into two sessions on the 17th and 18th.

It is reported that the enterprises that have come to the site of this double election meeting are not only the credit units cooperating with our president in the future, but also the high-quality enterprises cooperating with our school for the first time. More than 350 high-quality enterprises including China Telecommunications, China Construction Technology Group Limited Company, some subsidiaries of Chuanyi group, China Aviation Technology International Engineering Limited Company, Chongqing Communication Industry Service Limited Company, Chongqing Iron and Steel Group, Chongqing Intelligent Robot Research Institute and other high-quality enterprises were selected from more than 500 applicants. Among them, the Municipal Education Commission and the human resources and social security bureaus of relevant districts and counties also pushed more than 70 enterprises to participate, providing more than 11 thousand jobs for 4023 fresh graduates of our university, covering such undergraduate majors as intelligent science and technology, computer science and technology, software engineering, electronic information engineering, automation, animation, digital media art, project cost, marketing, as well as software technology digital media application technology and other specialties.

Xueping Tang, deputy director of the employment guidance service center for secondary school graduates of Chongqing University and minister Liang Yin, President Guoqing Gui of Chongqing Institute of Engineering, Mingshu Tan, Secretary of the Party committee and supervisor Yeping Zhang, deputy secretary of the Party committee and executive vice president, Jiandong Wang, assistant to the president, and other university leaders, heads of relevant functional departments, presidents and secretaries of secondary colleges came to the scene to understand the talent needs of the recruitment unit and the application of students.

Every autumn is the peak season for graduates to apply for jobs and enterprises to recruit. This double selection meeting has greatly met the graduates' willingness to apply for jobs and the recruitment needs of employers. The job fair is crowded and orderly, creating a strong employment atmosphere. Each employing unit provides detailed recruitment information for students in the fixed recruitment area and consultation point. Students who take part in the application are confident to go to their favorite recruitment units with their resumes. They consult the specific situation and employment requirements of the recruitment units in detail. The front row of recruitment booths of many well-known units is full of students. Among them, Jialing Chen, a 2017 grade e-commerce major from the school of management, had a feeling and talked about it. Because of the epidemic, many opportunities for on-site delivery of resumes were missed. This time, the school held a double selection meeting, which not only increased the opportunity to deliver resumes to ideal enterprises, but also got to know a lot of enterprises that were not paid much attention to before, and found many suitable positions for their own majors.

Our CQIE students’ good attitude towards career choice, solid professional foundation and practical ability, and good communication and cooperation ability have been favored by employers. Employers have said that the two-way election meeting is large-scale, which is of great help to mutual understanding between the two sides, and highly evaluates the professionalism and enthusiasm of the students of CQIE.

President Guoqing Gui has high hopes for all the students who graduated in 2021. He hopes that students can establish a correct employment concept, first get employed and then choose a job, be realistic and down-to-earth, combine their professional knowledge with practice, find the right position in the professional and technical posts or social service posts, complete employment, and be able to do well in their own human physiology think and wish. At the same time, he also hopes that every CQIE students can cherish his youth in school, improve learning efficiency, increase social competitiveness, and be a high-quality application-oriented talent with comprehensive development of morality, intelligence, physique, beauty and labor.
