CQIE Successfully Held a Teacher-Student Chorus Competition “Sing the Main Melody, Forge Ahead in a New Era”

Net news (articles/school union Chen Chu, pictures/college student journalist group Jing Lei, Lingying Chen)At the closing of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, in order to show the vigorous spirit of our school teachers and students, to inspire great enthusiasm for the majority of teachers and students to love the party, the motherland, the people, socialism, and devote themselves to education. On the evening of November 20th, the CQIE Committee of the Communist Party of China held the CQIE “Sing the Main Melody, Forge Ahead in a New Era” teacher-student chorus competition in the Academic Lecture Hall of Nanquan Campus.

That night, Chairman Wanjun Wang, Party Secretary Mingshu Tan, and school leaders: Yeping Zhang, Qionghua Wang, Guohua Jiang, Xiaoyong Tang, Gui Yang, Longfu Zhou, Yugang Jian, Jiandong Wang and others attended the event. More than 1,000 people attended the meeting, including the party secretary, teachers, and student representatives of the secondary colleges.

The jury of this competition is composed of 1 teacher and 3 external judges recommended by each grassroots trade union. A total of 9 participating teams composed of teachers and students from the branch unions of the second-level colleges and the branch unions of the government agencies, sang the school song “Feelings for Camphor Tree” affectionately. They performed a wonderful song of the Red Revolution, leading the audience to look back at the glorious history of the Chinese nation and look forward to China's bright future.


Finally, the school union teacher Chen Chu and the national flag guards performed the program “The Place Where the National Flag Flutters” for everyone. The song was magnificent and fluttering, and then the teacher representatives of all participating teams were brought back to the curtain call. Waves of applause continued, pushing the atmosphere to a climax.
