"My Teacher Dream" The Teacher Theme Speech Contest was Successfully Held

Net news (Article/College Union Chen Chu Picture/College Student Journalist Group Yimou Yuan) To enhance the comprehensive quality of teachers in our school, reveal the spirit of the new era teachers of "cultivate talented people who have a noble character, teaching and educating people, being a teacher by example, and rigorously pursuing academic studies", and shape the image of a teacher of " highly educated people are teachers, and high morals are models ", on afternoon of November 6th, 2020, our school held the final of the "My Teacher Dream" the teacher theme speech contest in the academic lecture hall. The competition is hosted by Chongqing Institute of Engineering and undertaken by the school union. Yeping Zhang, deputy secretary of the school’s party committee and executive vice president, Qionghua Wang, vice-principal, Xiaoyong Tang, secretary of the Disciplinary Committee and chairman of the labor union, heads of each department and party branch secretaries of the secondary colleges attended it. More than 900 teachers and student representatives attended and watched the contest. 

A total of 12 groups of contestants participated in the final after the secondary colleges’ preliminary round and the school rematch. The speech contest kicked off with Teacher Siyu Feng’s "Giving and Dedication is the Brightest Background of Teachers’ Dreams"; in the middle section, Teacher Wei Huang’s speech "The Ideal of Teachers and the Brilliance of CQIE" pushed the atmosphere to a climax. The audience's response was enthusiastic; in the end, the speech "Stick to the original heart and be the leader behind" by Teacher Qianwen Yi brought a successful conclusion to the whole finals.

Participating teachers used their actions to write their deeds of performing their duties, and used their voices to convey their persistence and love for education. The heartfelt words and the stories of love and dedication have infected every audience at the scene. These agilities from life, from reality, from the bottom of my heart, make the image of our school teachers plumper, full of new era atmosphere, full of moving and vitality.
