The Teachers of Our School Have Won Excellent Achievements in the "Teaching Skills Competition of Ideological and Political Theory Teachers in Chongqing universities"

Net news (article/picture Juan Hu, ideological and political department) From November 25th to 27th, the 2020 "Chongqing University Ideological and Political Theory Teachers' Teaching Skills Competition Finals" was held in Sichuan Foreign Studies University, sponsored by the Education Work Committee of Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and Chongqing Education Commission. During this period, Yong Zhou, a teacher of our school, won the third prize of "undergraduate teaching skills competition" after two competitions of teaching design and on-the-spot teaching, creating the best performance in the history of our school in this competition.

According to the spirit of relevant documents and unified arrangements from superiors, the party committee, the teaching and research department of ideological and political theory course and the teaching and research department of our school attached great importance to this competition. In early November, we began to seriously carry out the preliminary competition and the semi-competition, and selected excellent teachers to participate in the competition. And by employing Jia Li, a teacher from the School of Intelligence of Chongqing Industrial and Commercial University, who won the special prize of the competition in 2019, all the teachers of the Ministry of Thought and Politics, from teaching design to classroom teaching, collective efforts in lesson preparation, curriculum coordination and logistics fully support the contestants participating in the finals to prepare for the competition carefully and ensure a high level of participation.

It is reported that the purpose of this competition is to thoroughly implement the spirit of the school's ideological and political theory teachers' forum, to promote Jinping Xi's thinking on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era into teaching materials, classes, and minds, and to earnestly do a good job in the building of the contingent of ideological and political theory teachers in colleges and universities. Facing the front-line teachers of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities in the city, we will focus on examining teachers' teaching design ability and on-the-spot teaching ability.
