The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park of Our School Has Been Recognized as the Science and Technology Business in Cubator of Chongqing

Net news (Article/ Photo: College of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lele Wu ) Recently, Chongqing Science and Technology Bureau issued the Notice on the Announement of the List of Chongqing Science and Technology Business Incubators in 2020 (Chongqing Science and Technology Bureau issued [2021] No. 8), and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park of our school was identified as the municipal science and technology business incubator.

It is understood that science and technology business incubator is the service carrier of cultivating and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises of science and technology, which plays an important role in promoting the development of high-tech industry, improving the regional innovation system and prospering the economy. Since its establishment, the Innovation and Entrepreneurships Park of our school has given full play to the demonstration and driving effect, created a good environment for innovation and entrepreneurship, constantly innovated service models and expanded service functions. Currently, 79 entrepreneurial teams have been located in the Park, including 51 college students' micro-enterprises. In 2020, there will be 11 new enterprises in the park, an increase of 10% compared with last year, employing nearly 300 people, 28 innovation teams, and nearly 200 participating students. One micro-enterprise has grown into a small enterprise, two have entered the industrial and commercial growth enterprise cultivation database, and 12 have entered the science and technology enterprise database.

In the future, the school innovation and entrepreneurship park will follow the requirements of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, adhere to the "innovation to promote academic, with innovation to promote entrepreneurship, innovation and promote employment" the basic concept, to advance the management of the incubator and operational work, continue to perfect service system, improve service quality and level, innovation entrepreneurship education into the whole process of talent training, we will actively serve for the training of application-oriented talents and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and build a unique science and technology business incubator.
