College of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Holds 2021 Faculty Meeting

Mingshu Tan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the University, attended the meeting, which was presided over by Wei Shang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch of the University, and attended by the faculty of the university.

Yaoqin Cao, the Dean of Big Data College, first conveyed the spirit of the meeting of the school cadre conference, and combined with the 2021 college target assignment, the key work of this semester is arranged and deployed, laid emphasis on the work requirements of epidemic prevention and control, teachers’ ethics, safety and stability in the new term of the college. President Cao stressed that all work in this year should be carried out around the core work of undergraduate qualification assessment. All teachers should make plans in advance in accordance with the target task book, conscientiously compare the various indicators, complete the education and teaching tasks with high quality and high standards, and promote the work in a down-to-earth and effective way. The general requirements of this semester are supplemented by the work of Party building, study style, employment, teaching, scientific research and school enterprise cooperation.

Mingshu Tan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the University, fully affirmed the work of the school in the previous year, and gave new instructions on how to regulate teachers’ behavior in the evaluation and construction work of the college in 2021. Secretary Tan stressed that in the face of the important test of undergraduate teaching qualification assessment, all staff of big data college should do a solid job of education and teaching around the assessment work, and make concerted efforts to promote the steady development of the school. Secretary Tan also pointed out that 2021 is the key year for undergraduate qualification assessment. All teachers of the college should ensure the normalization of teachers’ behavior in all aspects, such as lesson preparation, teaching and assessment. While grasping the requirements of school education and teaching, giving full play to teachers’ initiative and doing their own work well is the greatest contribution to the qualification assessment.
