The School of Civil Engineering Held a Work Meeting at the Beginning of the Second Semester of the 2020-2021 Year

Net news (Article/Picture the School of Civil Engineering, Chengfeng Zhong) On the afternoon of March 5th, the School of Civil Engineering organized a working meeting at the beginning of the second semester of the 2020-2021 year. The School of Civil Engineering contacted the school’s leader and the president’s assistant Professor Yugang Jian to attend, 69 faculty members of the college attended the meeting. The meeting was presided by Dean Jiang Lei.

At the work meeting, Dean Lei took “Persevering in Dreams and Moving Forward” as the theme and led the faculty and staff of the college to learn the spirit of Chairman Wanjun Wang’s speech at the 2021 cadre meeting. Dean Lei pointed out that the development of the college needs to focus on the direction of “school-enterprise cooperation, integration of industry and education”, and strive to improve its professional characteristics; it is necessary to clarify the work requirements of 2021 and all faculty and staff are required to do a good job in the three aspects of “goal orientation”, “standardized homework” and “enhanced learning”. Heping Tang, deputy secretary of the Party branch of the School of Civil Engineering, Deputy Deans Jinneng Wang and Quping Zhu introduced work arrangements for party building, employment, teaching, scientific research, and school-enterprise cooperation in 2021respectively.

Finally, Yugang Jian, assistant to the principal, made a concluding speech at the meeting. Assistant Jian asked the college to actively carry out the new semester's work around the six tasks of “focusing on the team, focusing on the routine, standardizing management and quality, going all out to focus on teaching, automatically and spontaneously focusing on services, and benchmarking and evaluating”.
