The Personnel Department (Teacher Development Center) Held the Induction Training Meeting for New Staff in the Spring of 2021

Net news (articles/ Teacher Development Center Ke Chen pictures/Yimou Yuan) With the purpose of helping the new staff know about the historical reform and developmental vision of our campus, understanding their job responsibilities and profession development, and integrating into the campus culture, the Personnel Department (Teacher Development Center) held the new faculty induction training meeting with the attendance of Precident Guoqing Gui, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee and Managing Vice-Chancellor, Yiping Zhang, as well as a total of more than 70 new faculty members from Nanquan Campus and Shuangqiao Campus presided over by Ke Chen, the Deputy Director of the Teacher Development Center in the Spring of 2021 On March 6th.

At the morning training meeting, Director Chen first welcomed all new faculty and staff on behalf of the school, and introduced this training content and requirements. The "New Faculty Induction Manual" compiled by the Personnel Department (Teacher Development Center) was distributed on the spot.

Yiping Zhang, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee and Managing Vice-Chancellor, delivered a special lecture entitled "remain ture to our original aspiration and forge ahead" for all staff reviewed the ups and downs of CQIE in the past 20 years and shared his own thoughts on education that Demonstrated the persistent, pragmatic and diligent spirits of CQIE workers. He hoped that the new faculty and staff would work together to establish a high-level engineering and technological university with distinctive characteristics.

The principal Guoqing Gui explained in detail the school's characteristics, the talent training mode, the eight requirements of the teacher's teaching criterion and the "three major" objectives of the school's future development and he emphasized that hope new members will integrate into the big working family and become familiar with the working environment as soon as possible, exert the spirit of "master" and contribute to the development of the school grounded on the basis of own positions.

In the afternoon, the heads of the Personnel Office (Teacher Development Center), Academic Affairs Office, Teaching Quality Management Office and other departments provided special training for new faculty members, including professional development of faculty and staff, school personnel management, class teaching standards and teaching quality assurance System, etc, mainly from the focus of work, difficulties and business standard issues to help new employees to make a good career plan.

At the end of the training session, Director Chen made some requests to teachers to strengthen professional belief and ethics, to change roles and manage the relationship between family and career, also integrate with CQIE as soon as possible, adapt to work faster, brighten the development of the school's cause.
