Chongqing Institute of Engineering Held a Mobilization Meeting for the Study and Education of Party History

Net news (Article/ Publicity Department of Party Committee Pictures/ College Student Press Corps Qian Li) In order to study and implement the important speech spirit of General Secretary Jinping Xi at the Party history education mobilization conference, earnestly implement the deployment requirements of the Party Central Committee, and profoundly clarify the significance of the study of party history. In the afternoon of March 10th, our school held the CPC Chongqing Institute of Engineering Committee's Party History Education Mobilization Meeting in the 4th Meeting Room of the Administrative Office Building. The school leaders attending the meeting included President Guoqing Gui, Party Secretary and Supervisor Mingshu Tan, Vice President Guohua Jiang, Secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission and Trade Union Chairman Xiaoyong Tang, Assistant President Qigui Tan, Assistant President Longfu Zhou and Assistant President Jiandong Wang. Nearly 100 representatives of Party cadres at or above deputy department level, Party branch secretaries, full-time organizers, teachers and student Party members attended the event.

After the beginning of the conference, President Guoqing Gui conveyed to the participants the important spirit of General Secretary Jinping Xi’s speech at the mobilization meeting of the study and education of the CPC history on February 5th, and conveyed the important entrust that General Secretary Xi asked all party comrades to learn the history of the party, understand ideas, do practical things, and open a new bureau. Guoqing Gui also conveyed the contents of the mobilization meeting of Chongqing party history learning and education held on March 2st, and conveyed the work requirements of Miner Chen, Party Secretary of Chongqing, to let the majority of party members and cadres transform the party history education achievements into the “14th Five-Year Plan” after the first power.

Next, the Secretary of the Party Committee and Supervise the Commissioner Mingshu Tan made the Chongqing Institute of Engineering Party history study education work mobilization speech.  Mingshu Tan pointed out that first, we should improve our stand position, strengthen our faith, and deeply understand the great significance of carrying out the study and education of party history. The study and education of Party history is an important measure to help the communist party member remember their beginner’s mind mission, practice the purpose of “Serving the People”, and improve their ability to cope with risks and challenges. The majority of cadres should improve their political judgment, understanding and executive ability through the study of Party history, so as to achieve constant introspection and self-innovation.

Second, we should make clear the direction, highlight the key points, and strengthen the pertinence of the study and education of party history. The study and education of party history enables the majority of Party members and cadres to realize the self-improvement of “understanding reason”, “increasing trust”, “advocating morality” and “practicing hard”, so as to achieve the learning effect of “understanding ideas, doing practical things and opening up a new situation”, and make a good step for promoting the new journey of socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics.

Third, we should strengthen leadership, pay close attention to implementation, and strive to improve the effectiveness of party history learning and education. CQIE should take the study and education of party history as an important political task at present and for a period in the future. Party organizations at all levels should take various forms to organize the study, do a good job in education and publicity, do a solid job in the current work, and reflect the achievements of study and education with outstanding achievements.

After the mobilization speech, Guoqing Gui put forward four requirements. First, we should improve our political judgment and enhance our sense of responsibility and mission in the study and education of party history. Second, we should improve our political understanding and accurately grasp the fundamental point of the study and education of party history. Third, we should improve the political executive power and fully guarantee the pertinence and effectiveness of the party history study and education. Fourth, it is necessary to closely follow the central work of the school, combined with the target tasks of 2021, all work is carried out around the work of undergraduate qualification assessment center. Guoqing Gui stress that the school will be introduced party history study education detailed program, systematic planning study arrangement, hoped that all party members and cadres would turn their enthusiasm for the study and education of party history into the driving force for their work and entrepreneurship, turn the achievements of study and education into the important achievements of the school in the first year of the “14th Five -Year plan”, and greet the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China with outstanding achievements.
