Our School Held the First Regular Meeting of Discipline Research Work in the Second Semester of 2020-2021 Academic Year

Assistant President Longfu Zhou and vice deans in charge of scientific research of secondary colleges attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Director of Science and Technology Office and Director of Subject Office Wei Chen .

At the meeting, the department of technology reported the matters needing attention in the application and conclusion of Chongqing Education Science Planning Project, Chongqing Education Commission humanities and Social Sciences project, Chongqing Education Commission science and technology project, Chongqing social science planning project, Chongqing Natural Science Foundation and other projects. Each secondary college reported the recent scientific research work and put forward the problems in the process of scientific research management. Wei Chen, director of the science and Technology Department, stressed the convenience of intellectual property Expo, discipline construction, scientific research work mechanism and scientific research website construction. He said that the exhibition of this year's smart Expo focuses on the innovative and international level of products, and all units should make a good product exhibition plan. At the end of March, the school will organize experts to review the application of key disciplines in the school. All units are required to pay attention to the application quality and ensure the success rate of project application.

Longfu Zhou, assistant to the president, pointed out that the scientific research work of our school should not only meet the development of the school, but also meet the needs of the future application for master's degree. He put forward new requirements for the following scientific research work: first, the deputy dean of scientific research of the second level department should seriously consider and sort out the work responsibilities, and think about the development mechanism of discipline construction, scientific research work, academic exchange and international cooperation; Second, the school should hold regular meetings on discipline scientific research, and each secondary department should report the progress of discipline and scientific research on the basis of benchmarking table; Third, the leaders of all departments must establish a correct understanding of the discipline construction and scientific research, and regard the discipline construction and scientific research as a long-term important work; Fourth, it is necessary to reasonably formulate the sub plan of discipline research work in secondary departments, clarify the direction of discipline construction, build discipline team and build discipline platform. Fifth, the vice president of scientific research should take the lead in studying the system documents of the school's discipline scientific research work, and establish the internal evaluation mechanism of the secondary department. Sixth, the staff of the discipline office and the technology department should go to the grassroots level to do a good job in follow-up, guidance and service.
