Chongqing Vocational Institute of Engineering Came to Our School to Study and Inspect

Net news (article/photo Institute of Software Mei Huang) On the afternoon of March 16th, Professor Ying Wang, vice president of Institute of Big Data and Internet of Things of Chongqing Vocational Institute of Engineering, visited our school for investigation and research, focusing on the construction work of our school's characteristic exemplary Institute of Software. The Institute of Software specially organized a learning exchange forum, attended by Dean Professor Yue Wang, Vice Dean Associate Professor Huaping Li, Leader of Software Engineering Major Professor Zhongxue Li, and Director of Software Engineering Department Associate Professor Yahong Leng. The meeting was chaired by Yue Wang.

At the meeting, President Wang introduced in detail the general situation of our school and the practice and achievements of the Institute of Software in school-enterprise cooperation and the integration of industry and education in recent years. Huaping Li, the vice dean, introduced the measures and achievements of the construction of the characteristic exemplary software college in our school from the aspects of school-running ideas, construction foundation, curriculum construction, teaching staff, scientific research innovation, integration of industry and education, etc. The two sides also communicated with each other about the working ideas, successful experience and improvement of the shortcomings of the construction of the characteristic demonstrative software college.

Ying Wang, deputy dean of the Institute of Big Data and Internet of Things at Chongqing Vocational Institute of Engineering, said that the two sibling schools share many similarities in educational orientation and philosophy, as well as the same major setup and industry background. He hoped that the two schools could strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the future to jointly improve the quality of professional talent cultivation.

After the symposium, the delegation of Chongqing Vocational Institute of Engineering also visited the central computer room and teachers' studio of our school.
